


Mr. Potosnak was present for the awards ceremony in Denver at the end of February for being a key component of the Delta Air Lines' program and design management team on the $400 million, 25-gate Terminal A replacement at Boston Logan International Airport.
The award was sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the Airports Consultants Council (ACC) and is presented annually to the person or persons judged to have contributed most outstandingly during the recent past towards achieving compatible relationships between airports and/or heliports and adjacent environments.
The citation for the award reads, “For creating the Delta Air Lines Terminal A at Logan International Airport in Boston as a national model for passenger-friendly and environmentally responsible facilities and for being the world's first the Leadership in Environmental Engineering and Design (LEED) certification awarded by the US Green Building Council.”
